We have a special day planned for you at Camp Pendleton.
First-this is a really good and challenging course. Not only does it offer good golf, you may also get a glimpse of the resident bison! And coyotes that follow you like puppies.
There are 3 main features of the day:
Match Play Rules Presentation and Brunch: Mary Shepperd will share her USGA Rules officiating expertise with us so that we are fully prepared to hold our own during California Cup and EWGA Cup competitions. The meeting will include a full brunch of eggs, toast, meat, potatoes, coffee and juice.
Match Play Practice Round: Fresh from the meeting take your knowledge confidently out on the course for 18 holes of match play. We are hoping that our colleagues in Orange County will join us for some friendly competition.
Fun Stroke Play: Even if you're not interested in the competitive aspect of the day, feel free to join us for a fun day of golf.
Note: The fee structure is very complex due to the myriad options (eg, walking, riding, meeting, military, civilian) . Read carefully.
Note: While this is a walkable course, it is long and is a real workout!
Note: Because it is an active military base, we need to provide participant details in advance of our arrival. Registration will close on March 16th!
Because of the complexity of the above, this will be open to members only.
