ABOUT 2017 COMPETITIVE LADDER

The San Diego Chapter is using a competitive ladder to field our competitive events:  the California Cup and the EWGA Cup.  The competitive ladder is based on how you play against your course handicap at our 18 hole EWGA events. There is sign-up sheet to enter your score and your course handicap at the end of each round.

The “over/under par” numbers below indicate “net par”, your gross score compared to the course par plus your handicap (HC).  If the % shown is negative, it means the player has played on average below her HC, if the % is positive, the player has played over her HC.

The key to winning competitive events is to PLAY TO YOUR HANDICAP and you will win most of the time!!!  For the 2017 season, we are going to base the ladder on the last 15 events played (not just within the year) and you must play at least 4 of those events to qualify.

The top 15 on the current leaderboard (as of Feb 10, 2017) are shown below.  These players have played at least the minimum of 4 times.  There are currently 41 players on the complete list. Click Here for the complete Leaderboard.
